a Montage

Yesterday I shared photos and details of Rajan's first birthday party. Pictures tell a thousand words, but videos share a more personal touch. It was important for us to have a personal touch on all aspects of Rajan's party because we really wanted it to be a reflection of him, his personality, and his style. He is lighthearted but passionate,  a sweetheart but spunky, and kindhearted and outgoing, and we really wanted to share all of his sides with our guests.

My husband was so sweet and volunteered early on to be in charge of making a video montage for Raj's party. D loves making videos and I think he is really talented at it, so of course, I jumped all over his offer. He spent days going through the millions of photos and videos of Raj's first year to find the best ones and compile them all together. The results were nothing short of amazing. Maybe I am bias, I am not quite sure, but I think the video is so touching, and even more so that it came purely from a Father's eyes.

Unfortunately, due to technical difficulties, we were unable to share the video at Rajan's party... talk about heartbreak! I know D tried his best to be ok with it, but it was something he and I had really looked forward to sharing with our family and friends, there is nothing better than seeing their faces while watching together. So, what is the next best thing?! Well, sharing it here with all of my readers to watch!! I hope you enjoy it as much as we have. The first year is quite a challenging, magical blur, all I can say is thank God for photos and videos so that we can relive it as often as we want.

So, what do you think?! Isn't D great? I am thinking about starting to incorporate some fun videos from time to time for the blog, of course with D as the director... I love seeing his creative side come out. I would love to hear your feedback on the idea!!

I hope you are enjoying all of the birthday posts, I have one more to share with you next week... but for now, enjoy the photos and videos I have shared so far.

With love,
Amanda
