Weekend Style: Lindsey's Bridal Shower

This weekend I attended the Bridal Shower for one of my favorite people, Lindsey of Stay Styled Blog. I know you all have seen me write and share pictures with her a ton on here, probably because it is no secret that she is one of my closest girlfriends, and not just through blogging!

Lindsey and I met in college, we were both in the same sorority, Alpha Phi. Her and I always clicked, mostly right from the beginning because we shared of love of clothes and fashion, but also just because since the minute I met her I always enjoyed her positive vibe and loved being around her. Her outgoing personality is one of my favorite things about her, because I am somewhat of a shy person, I always appreciate anyone who helps me come out of my shell, and Lindsey has always done just that.

Over the last year Lindsey and I have been living pretty close to one another, and because of blogging, we spend a lot of time together. Whereas most people would get sick of someone who they spend so much time with, I feel like every event and visit together makes us miss one another more! My husband adores her, my son lights up even just from seeing a photo of her, and even my mom can't stop talking about how much she loves my girl.

Lindsey is just a few weeks away from marrying the love of her life, and someone who my husband and I love dearly ourselves, Brett. Some of our close girlfriends got together over the weekend at a shower hosted by our good friend Christa, to celebrate the upcoming nuptials. Christa is an insanely talented event planner, and Lindsey's shower was held at Christa's place which looked straight out of Elle Homes edition; so chic and gorgeous, and the perfect place to host a shower... everything was to die for! Make sure you check out Lindsey's blog and follow her posts because she will be sharing details at Stay Styled!

I had originally planned on wearing a completely different dress for the shower, but once I received it I was so sad to discover that it did not fit, you can imagine my panic! Luckily I had snagged this top and skirt recently, so at the last minute I threw it all together and went for a black color block look, who could go wrong with that?

Here are a few more shots of Lindsey's shower goodies I snapped on my phone! I can't wait to see the rest on Lindsey's post.

I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend! We have an incredibly busy week ahead of us in the U house, but fortunately we tend to thrive on that.

With love,
