Happy Bastille Day!

In honor of yesterday being Bastille Day, I am sharing this French inspired ensemble. I am not quite sure what it is about black and white stripes and a pop of red lips that reminds me of prancing around the streets of Paris, mime inspiration, perhaps? Hahaha, clearly! Whatever it may be, I always feel so Parisian when wearing black and white stripes. Paris is a favorite of mine and in my top five cities I have visited, and I am pretty sure it is in everyone else's who have traveled there as well!

I have been really into wearing light jackets over my shoulders, sort of like a cape. I have noticed this has become a huge trend lately, I love the touch of feminitity that it adds and the jacket then becomes more of an accessory than a piece of the clothing.

I read somewhere (forgive me for not remembering) that leopard shoes have become the new 'nude' and I couldn't agree more. I think it is perfectly acceptable to mix leopard with almost any print, and pretty much any color!

I can't wait to visit France again one day. D and I had such a wonderful experience there and I would love to take Raj... and do some more fabulous shopping, of course!

With love,
