Father's Day from the Heart

Sometimes the gifts that mean the most are ones made from the heart. As a former preschool teacher I have learned over the years that what moms and dads value most for holidays are the little treasures that remind them over the years of their children's youth. Years from now, it is probably not likely you will pull a fine leather wallet from a packed away storage box but rather an old painting, handprint or coloring from your little one!

I was browsing Pinterest recently for some inspiration for something Raj could make for his Daddy and came across these sweet little things...

3. Daddy Questionnaire - working at the preschool I did this year after year for Mother's Day and Father's Day and it was always a crowd favorite!

8. #1 Dad

Hope some of these suggestions help you out, especially those of you who are looking for budget friendly items. Remember to let the little ones have fun with these, the key is for it to come from the heart.

I want to wish all of the Dads out there a very very Happy Father's Day, especially my own Daddy and, of course, the love of my life turned Daddy. This is D's first official Father's Day and I know Raj will make it extra special for him.

Alright, Raj and I are off to get busy working away on our gifts!

With love,
Amanda
