Weekend Roundup

Ahhhh what a week it has been in the U house. To start, we have a full blown teething, sleep fighting monster who goes by the name of Mr. Rajan! To add to the chaos of a teething/gassy 4 month old, D came down with Influenza B (yes, the REAL flu - Emergency Room and all) and he has been trying to fight a fever for 6 days now. No contact with Rajan and I leaves me flying solo in parenthood - mad props to all of you amazing moms and/or dads who do this regularly completely on your own, this mama is BEAT!

Ok, enough complaining for the day. Besides fighting all of our sick household battles, we had a pretty busy weekend. I didn't have much free time to snap many pictures between juggling my two guys, but here are a few highlights...

I have so much fun dressing this little guy. When I found out I was having a boy, so many people complained to me about how difficult it is to have fun dressing boys and I have found the complete opposite to be true, I love shopping for a dressing Raj in so any different styles of clothing. Our go-to is alway Baby Gap, but I also love finding different and creative pieces for him online. When we are out and on the go, I love getting him all dressed up, but the truth is, 90% of the week he is comfy clothes. Nothing beats a rad tee and cozy leggings for a relaxing day at home! I love the "favorite" tee I picked up for him at The Gap recently; him being an only child, he has every right to claim his spot as his Mom and Dad's favorite.

"the favorite" tee: Gap (on sale now!) // leggings: infant Carter's // socks: Target

This weekend was my soon-to-be sister in law's second bridal shower. It was a Royal themed party perfectly suited for the beautiful bride-to-be. We all had so much fun dressing up in fancy dresses and wearing our English style hats! I had a blast and it really was a beautiful occasion, I can not wait for her big day coming up soon!!

fascinator hat: Nordstrom // dress: Gap (sold out) // bib gold necklace: Forever 21

There is nothing I love more than waking up to this handsome face every morning. Since D has been under the weather and has been sleeping in a different room due to coughing and keeping Rajan safe from getting sick, I may or may not have been sneaking Raj into my bed every night...
Shhh, don't tell dad!

I am not usually much of a "selfie" person, but every so often I will throw on a piece of jewelry that I just can't help but want to share with others. I was helping D out with the business this weekend and drove him around to get some tasks taken care of,  and as mentioned previously, my little guy has been protesting sleep this last week which means NO sleep for Mommy! It was a ponytail and sweatshirt day and I was feeling exhausted and not too chic so I decided to throw on a favorite pair of earrings to lift my mood. It is crazy how one simple addition to your outfit can change the entire look!
*Please excuse the sleepy eyes and messy ponytail of this tired Mama*
(yup that was Rajan playing on his toy mat on top of my bed in the background, HAHAHA!)

earrings: Bauble Bar

Cheers to it being a new week, I am praying for a much healthier week in our house. If anyone has any tips on helping babies sleep at night, please do share, it would be so greatly appreciated.

With love,
